Do we need a purpose in life?
Depending on how far down the rabbit hole we go, the answer can vary.
At its core, the answer is arguably no. Life is simply the movement of energy.
Yet, on the other hand, you can argue that life energy or consciousness is playing this “game” in order to know and understand itself.
This is beyond the scope of what I wanted to write about today.
In my humble opinion, we all have a life purpose. In fact, we have many life purposes over the period of a lifetime.
We experience life through our thoughts, and that wonderful machine called our brain.
Your brain is designed as a vital tool to experience life.
We are consciousness, here to experience ourselves and life.
So we do have a life purpose.
Our purpose is to grow and have new experiences. Our minds are the creative force which allows us to manifest and create new realities.
There is value in going beyond our mind in a spiritual sense. But not to completely shun it.
Many people will say that you need to go beyond or destroy the ego.
Our ego is a function of our mind. It is a tool which allows us to experience reality, and ourselves.
We wouldn’t have an ego if we didn’t need to use it. Going beyond our mind is only useful to a point. We only need to go so far, as bringing awareness to our mind, and not allowing ourselves to be taken in by it.
Once we have developed a space of awareness in our mind, we need to start working to understand it.
This is when our mind will reveal our desires, preferences and life purpose so to speak.
Once you have allowed the negativity, fear and external conditioning of the mind to die down, your true self and purpose will begin to shine through.
What else can I say, it is incredibly simple, yet very easy to make complicated.
